TOOMEY-BRUNET

Ruth Agatha Brunet, a prominent young woman of Hermon, today became the bride of Donald J. Toomey of Gouverneur at a nuptial mass this morning at 6 at St. James; Catholic Church. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. M. F. Gallivan, pastor of the church. The attendants were Eva Fournier[1] and Theodore Brunet.

The bride who is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Brunet of Hermon, is well-known in Gouverneur, where she has made her home for some time. The bridegroom is an employe of the Cooperative Delivery association for the past thirteen years is a son of Mt. and Mrs. John Toomey of Water Street.

After the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bridegroom after which the couple left on a honeymoon for Syracuse and other points. On their return they will make their home with the bridegroom’s parents in Water street.
