WED IN SODUS – Miss Joyce Anne Fletcher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Fletcher, Sodus, was married to Gary R. Jackson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Jackson, Carthage, Aug. 17 at 11 a.m. to Third Methodist Church, Sodus.
Rev. Thomas Brown, pastor, officiated.
Matron of honor was Mrs. Paul DeKue, Marion, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Miss Patricia DeMarree, Sodas, Miss Kathleen Jackson, Settees Falls, and Mrs. Kevin VanAlstine, Victor.
Best man was Leonard Jackson, Carthage, brother of the groom. Ushers were John Fletcher, Waterloo, brother of the bride, Louis Abel and Gary Walseman, both of Carthage.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Hotel Frederick, Alton.
After a wedding trip to Cape Cod, the couple will be at home at 6 State Street, Sodus.
Guests were present from Lowville, Carthage, Rochester, Savannah, Waterloo, Victor, Palmyra, Marten, Seneca Falls and Parish.
The bride is a graduate of Sodus Central School, Sodus, and is employed by the Rochester Telephone Company in the payroll department.
The groom, a graduate of Beaver River Central School, Beaver Falls, is employed by Ailing Lander Company, Inc., Sodus.
