Husband of Former Tupper Woman Dies In Syracuse Dec. 27

Mr. and Mrs. Alberic Nadeau of 22 Church st., were called to Syracuse upon the sudden death of their son in-law, John Herbert Tessier, 51. of that city who died unexpectedly at his home on December 27.

Mr. Tessier was married here in 1944 to the former Marie Disotell of this village and was employed at the Northland Garage in downtown Tupper Lake prior to making the family home in Syracuse. Prior to his death, he was employed as a New. York State supervisor in North Syracuse.

Survivors include his wife; one son, John Jr.; two daughters: Patricia Tessier at home, and Mrs. Jack (Dorothy) Baliski of Patterson, N. J.; one sister, Mrs. Richard (Lyla) Spry of Adams, N. Y., and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Monday, December 30, at the Sears Funeral Home in Syracuse. Interment will be in Adams Cemetery in the spring.

Mr. Tessier was a member of the Lions Club and Adams Chapter of Masons.
