Edward J. Laughlin

Edward J. Laughlin of 833 E. Brighton Ave., died Tuesday at home.

He was a native of Seneca Falls and had resided most of his life in Syracuse.

Mr. Laughlin was the former owner of O’Laughlin’s Roast Beef Taverns of Syracuse and DeWitt.

He was a communicant of Holy Cross Church, DeWitt, and a member of its Holy Name Society.

Surviving are his wife, Jeanne; a sister, Mary Tefft; a niece, Mary Gosson of Bridgeport; and a nephew, Gary Tefft of Medfield, Mass.

Services will be Friday at 8:30 a.m. at John G. Butler Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. in Holy Cross Church. Burial will be in Old Forge.

Calling hours are 2 to 5 p.m. today. Contributions may be made to the Holy Cross Church Memorial Fund.
