Dr. Robert Thesier, 81, of Florida, was born in Canastota and attended Chittenango schools. He had a chiropractic practice in Syracuse from 1962-1984. He married Alice Reed of Oswego in 1982. Interment will be in North Syracuse Cemetery.

Pa. Crash Is Fatal
John A. Thesier, 15, of 345 Chestnut St., North Syracuse, died Sunday at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Johnson- City, after being injured Saturday morning in an automobile accident.
The youth was hurt in a one-car accident near Cambridge, Pa., and was being transported to Syracuse by ambulance when his condition worsened. He was first taken to Binghamton General Hospital and later transferred to the Wilson hospital intensive care unit where he died.
Thesier was a life resident of North Syracuse. He was a freshman at North Syracuse High School. He was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, North Syracuse. He was a Life Scout in Boy Scout Troop 625 for physically handicapped youth. He was to become an Eagle Scout in three months.
Surviving are his parents, .Dr. and Mrs. Robert L. Thesier; a brother, William of Marietta, Ga.; two sisters, Tifa Claflin of Kennefaw, Ga., and Wannita Guidry, North Syracuse; maternal grandfather, Raymond Wuilliez of Canastota; and several aunts and uncles.
Services will be Thursday at a time to be announced at Sears-Middleton Funeral Home. Burial will be in North,Syracuse Cemetery.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. ‘Wednesday at the funeral home, 209 N. Main St.
Contributions may be made to Disabled Boy Scout Troop 625 of Liverpool.

Mrs. Gertrude Thesier
CANASTOTA — Service for Mrs. Gertude Thesier, 77, of 103 Clearview St., North Syracuse, who died Saturday at Crouse-Irving Memorial Hospital, Syracuse, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Ball Funeral home. Burial will be in St. Agatha’s Cemetery.
A native of New Brennan, Mrs. Thesier had resided in Canastota for many years before moving to North Syracuse about 15 years ago.
Mrs. Thesier was the widow of Louis Thesier, who died in 1957.
Surviving are a son, Dr. Robert Thesier of North Syracuse; a sister, Mrs. Hugh Beyers of Lowville; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Contributions may be made to Disabled Scout Troop 625, 344 N. Chestnut St., North Syracuse.

Robert Thesier Dies at Hospital
Robert L. Thesier Jr., 20, of 345 Chestnut St., North Syracuse, died yesterday at St. Joseph’s Hospital after a long illness.
He is survived by his parents, Dr. and Mrs. Robert L. Thesier Sr., two sisters, Mrs. Tica Claflin of Bridgeport and Miss Wannita Thesier of North Syracuse; two brothers, William and John Thesier of North Syracuse; his maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Wuilliez of Canastota; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Gertrude Thesier of North Syracuse.
Services will be at 8 a.m. Saturday at the Sears-Middleton Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., North Syracuse, and at 8:30 a.m. in St. Rose of Lima Church. Burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery.
Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.

Thesier Receives Palmer Degree
Robert L. Thesier, son of Gertrude E. Thesier and the late Louis A. Thesier, formerly of Lowville, has been graduated from the Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, Iowa, with the degree of Doctor of Chiropractic.
A graduate of Chittenango High School, Dr. Tbesier completed a four-year course of chiropractic study in thirty-six months by participating in an accelerated program of attending classes throughout the year. While attending the college, he was employed by the Eagle Signal Company, Moline, Ill.
After serving with the air force, Dr. Thesier studied agriculture for two years under the G.I. bill.
Dr. Theiser is married and has four children, Robert, Jr., William, Tisa and Wannita.
Dr. Thesier served his internship at the Palmer College Clinics and since graduation has been associated with the Kehoe Clinic, Davenport, Iowa. He plans to open his chiropractic office at 430 South Main Street, North Syracuse.
